Brandy Wilson, a Patient Family Partner who experienced a cardiac event just days after the birth of her third child, will offer a powerful, firsthand account of navigating the health care system as a patient, shedding light on the emotional and practical aspects of patient care.
Lora Ham, a Quality Improvement R.N. for the University of Alabama School of Public Health, will speak about the Postpartum Awareness Bracelet program and the Emergency Department SPEED Pass.
