How

How we’re making a healthier tomorrow possible

Our success takes more than a mission. It takes more than dedicated partners. It takes the kind of support you can only get from people who are focused on a healthy Missouri.

Missouri was designated an Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health state in 2018 and the Missouri PQC was formed in 2022. Through a comprehensive set of initiatives, technical support and educational resources, the MO PQC is making a positive impact on maternal and infant morbidity and mortality throughout the state.

WHO

The ones who make it happen

The Missouri PQC was formed by the Missouri Hospital Association and supported through grants and contracts in partnership with the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, Health Resources and Services Administration, and Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Since the beginning, our goal has been to serve anyone in need of assistance, guidance or education throughout the entire state.

Working in partnership with MHA has allowed the MO PQC to gain access to some of the area’s leading experts in perinatal education and care.

From health care thought leaders to industry experts, researchers and more, our team is comprised of dedicated professionals who want to turn our vision for Missouri into the future for Missouri.

Maternal-Child Learning and Action Network

The Maternal-Child Learning and Action Network offers assistance, facilitates the exchange of knowledge, and provides peer support for the creation of effective quality initiatives. These initiatives are centered around the Quadruple Aim principles, an expansion of the Triple Aim (enhancing patient experience, improving population health, and reducing costs) to include an additional goal of improving the work life of health care providers.
